Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences by Frederick J. Gravetter, Larry B. Wallnau Review
This book has me "getting it"! For context, I have 3.68 GPA and am a generally good student who finds math a challenge. The first time I took statistics I really struggled. I am taking it again and this book explains the concepts so well that I honestly know the math without even having to reference the formulas in many instances. If you want to understand statistics, not just memorize formulas, this might be the book for you. If you are like me, and excel in social sciences and language, but have a harder time with math, maybe you will find that this book speaks to you.
In addition to explaining the concepts in a way I understand easily, the book has good examples and online resources including games, practice tests, flashcards, etc. So you can get some extra studying in, learn how to use statistcs, and get an A!
